RIP Favourite shoe

Well this is a sad post. Basically my (most recent) pair of favourite shoes have died :( I brought these (well, this is my 4th pair) from Primark for £13 last year. I had two tan and two gorgeous peachy nude pairs. And now the last one has died a death. It had a long good life though so I'll try not to weep too much.

Thank you Shoe for seeing me through casual days and dressier up days. Thank you for being easy to put on and off despite looking complicated. And thank you for not hurting my feet. You served me well. RIP.

If you have a weak stomach then skip this bit! I will now tell you about the sad demise: The sole fell off. Erm, that's about it really. But literally, the whole sole was just hanging by a thread while I was walking down Romford Road. It was quite embarassing actually. First I thought that I had stepped on something and was trying to discreetly shake it off. Once I realised what it was I had to stop and pull the sole off and then wobble home. The pics were actually taken today and they look ok (very scuffed obviously but that is the sign of a well loved shoe!) but that's what makes it so difficult. They don't look dead but they are. Like someone in a vegetable coma. There but not there. Wearable but not wearable. God I am shallow.

Since we are on the topic of dead shoes I've also chucked away this sorry lot [below]. However, no tears shall be shed because I have 7 pairs left (assorted colours) and I think you can still find them in store (Primark between £4-6).
