Stratford 2012

Howdy people! If you didn't know, the Olympics games are taking place in London woo hoo and the main hub bub is taking place in my home town Stratford. To be honest, for me, the Olympics happening so close to home is a walking hell. Crowds, fear of terrorist attacks, the loud noise, and I don't give a crap about sports - perfect(!) But anyway, I'm trying to be as happy spirited as I can, and trying to be patriotic and stuff. And I did watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony......and the red arrows flew past Penny Palace whoop whoop!!
Above picture - apologies for the terrible picture - is meant to focus on the people walking by, American's draped in their beautiful stars and stripes flag...with blocks of cheese on their heads. Yeah. Ok.
This picture does not capture the beauty of the night. It's a blimp flying past Penny Palace. The sky was so gorgeous, with stars twinkly but I couldn't capture that with my immense photography skill(!) The lights below are blocks of flats. Pretty(!) So how are you enjoying The Games? Are you watching? Who are you cheering for?

Feed me!!!

Hello!

So I've posted my face, clothes and goes for the past month so here's a post on the food!

Home made nando's with homemade potato and sweet potato chips; homemade giant burger, hotdogs, bacon, egg and cheese toastie and finally BBQ!

Haul: Peacocks

Hi Guys!

Sorry I've not posted for a while; I've actually been trying to but my Internet connection is beyond awful.

Anyway, the other day I went out for some fresh air with my workmates and lunch and ended up in Peacocks. I picked up a blouse but I'll post about that in an OOTD.

Unfortunately that little purchase ended up with me running out of work at home time and rummaging through the sale rails. I ended up picking up 3 things for £17.

A snake skin print red/orangey short sleeve chiffon top - £5

A big blotchy animal print chiffon blouse - £5

And a long cardigan, with a black and white crochet pattern - £7

Had a crap week so felt good to have a bit of a shop, I haven't done it for ages. And yay for sales! Glad peacocks didn't end up closing down.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Oxo
