Hi Guys!
Been feeling blah (hence the lack of posts) but the other day I went to Primark with my mum and since she said she'd treat me I tried on tons of stuff, and shockingly, tons of non black stuff!!
Don't have a heart attack about the first picture I DID NOT BUY THIS OUTFIT! I just thought I'd share the nightmare lol I really want a maxi skirt, and to be honest I kinda like this tomato red one but my mum said I looked like a buffalo so....no. The bow top was a 'silk' material and is really cute but it looks cuter in the picture then it did in real life. Fatty and sweaty, not a good combo for cream silk in a size too small.
The next two dresses my mum DID buy for me.
First up we have a plummy chiffon dress with a gorgeous 'winged' sleeve and capey type back, I love the top part, and I don't mind the colour but I HATE the frill on the bottom of the skirt. It makes me feel like a sweetie wrapper and it's hard to find shoes that don't make me an ultra stumpy sweetie wrapper. But anyways, I've worn it now so I'm stuck with it.
Lastly, my teal shift dress with sheer kimino style sleeves. Everyone at work, even strangers complimented me. It was really weird. It was just the fact that I was wearing a colour which shocked everyone I think (I wore this dress before I wore the sweetie wrapper). It was nice and easy to wear. But I did also feel a bit like a sack of spuds in it but thats not the dress's fault; that's what happens when you eat KFC for breakfast! lol
So do you like my foray into the coloured side? I wore teal last monday and the sweetie wrapper on the friday, every other day I was back in black. I am trying to bring a bit more colour into my wardrobe but I guess I've chosen the wrong time since ?I don't have the funds at the moment.
What is your favourite colour to wear? Do you like to shine like a star or hide in the shadows?
