September 2012 / shoe haul

Oh crap where has the month gone?! I had the best of intentions to post in August and September but since we're creeping closer to October I've obviously not done too great. Oopsy!

I'll spare you with a boring story and let's just stink with the important stuff....mini shoe haul!

I bought some shoes from Primark.

2 slipper style shoes, black and leopard. £6 each. Comfortable as hell. I admit I now own 2 black pairs. Really tempted to buy another 10 but still trying hard to curb the bulk buying instinct.

Almond toe 2 tone flat. Only £5! But holy crap they are painful. They look really nice on though so I just cry as I take pigeon steps and just give the shoes a quick wipe over at the end of the day to get rid of the blood (j/k!)

Really happy it's A/W, def my favourite fashion season :)

Stratford 2012

Howdy people! If you didn't know, the Olympics games are taking place in London woo hoo and the main hub bub is taking place in my home town Stratford. To be honest, for me, the Olympics happening so close to home is a walking hell. Crowds, fear of terrorist attacks, the loud noise, and I don't give a crap about sports - perfect(!) But anyway, I'm trying to be as happy spirited as I can, and trying to be patriotic and stuff. And I did watch the Olympic Opening Ceremony......and the red arrows flew past Penny Palace whoop whoop!!
Above picture - apologies for the terrible picture - is meant to focus on the people walking by, American's draped in their beautiful stars and stripes flag...with blocks of cheese on their heads. Yeah. Ok.
This picture does not capture the beauty of the night. It's a blimp flying past Penny Palace. The sky was so gorgeous, with stars twinkly but I couldn't capture that with my immense photography skill(!) The lights below are blocks of flats. Pretty(!) So how are you enjoying The Games? Are you watching? Who are you cheering for?

Feed me!!!

Hello!

So I've posted my face, clothes and goes for the past month so here's a post on the food!

Home made nando's with homemade potato and sweet potato chips; homemade giant burger, hotdogs, bacon, egg and cheese toastie and finally BBQ!

Haul: Peacocks

Hi Guys!

Sorry I've not posted for a while; I've actually been trying to but my Internet connection is beyond awful.

Anyway, the other day I went out for some fresh air with my workmates and lunch and ended up in Peacocks. I picked up a blouse but I'll post about that in an OOTD.

Unfortunately that little purchase ended up with me running out of work at home time and rummaging through the sale rails. I ended up picking up 3 things for £17.

A snake skin print red/orangey short sleeve chiffon top - £5

A big blotchy animal print chiffon blouse - £5

And a long cardigan, with a black and white crochet pattern - £7

Had a crap week so felt good to have a bit of a shop, I haven't done it for ages. And yay for sales! Glad peacocks didn't end up closing down.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Oxo

Penny in the hoooouse!

Hello Everyone! A random post with random pictures from the last month or so - sorry for my absence! Above pic is me mid-bun - and that hair is not backcombed, that's pure unbrushed/unstraightened hair. Scary!!
This is me in Primark in a lovely wig. For some reason I am not so keen to get a fringe or colour my hair. I wonder why?!
I love photo props and what better than an orange slice smile?! :)
For the Olympics my brother is helping out in tube stations (he's usually office based for TFL) and they gave him an ipad. You can't do anything with it but I had fun locating the nearest restrooms and translating popular foreign phrases such as, "your mum is a cow" :)
Hate working but love ice lollies! My managers got us all ice creams and ice lollies during our 3 day summer. Yay :)
