Pull and bear bag

(Sorry for the toilet pic!)

Hi Guys!

Just a quick post sharing my new handbag with you. My sweet daddy got me this bag to help carry my junk to and from my new job :)

It's a great size - not too big - but big enough to put all my usual stuff in it and include my lunch box :)

The handle is a good length for my chunky arm; I can easily fit my arm through the handle with my thick winter coat on. Likewise, the strap is a great length. If I wanted, I could have it hanging at my hip.

If you fancy one for yourself you can find it here:

Hope March has been a great month for you. Cannot believe how fast this year is flying by!

Outfits of the Week

Hi Guys,

Just a few more outfit of the days - even though it's not super hot anymore it's still dress down at work (tomorrow will be the start of week 3 of dress down - I feel like a student again!).

First up - what a horrid look - literally my face is urgh! But oh well. I'm wearing my newlook inspire neon heart t shirt with my dorothy perkins light bleach eden jeggings. Got some old primark gladiator white and gold sandals on my feet and my new favourite bag. I think this was the most casual I've ever been apart from pj's,

I really like this outfit - I'm wearing denim so it is dress down but I'm also wearing a lace peplum top so I still feel like 'me'. The jeans are from Very and top is from asos curve (£12.50 in the sale). Paired with nude primark ballet pumps and my new favourite bag again.

I also liked this outfit; it was really comfortable but still quite 'nice'. Grey skinnies from Very, black dip hem t shirt from Very, red shoes from Zara.

Here's a close up of my two new favourite items - both gifted by my mummy.

Light tan bag from accessorise - rrp £40 but my mum got it for £6!!!When she gave me this I really didn't like it but once I carried it I haven't switched out bags since.

Red stud shoes with cut out sides and ankle strap (squashed under bag) - what's not to love? Zara and my mum got them for £7.99 in the sale!!!!!!!!!

This is me doing casual bling lol Converse (omg these need their own post!), eden jeans and an oversized t shirt from asos with giant sparkly gems on the shoulders.

Images above and below same OOTD (obviously) - This is my go to when it's over 24 degrees. I know it looks like a lot of black but I can't be wearing hot pants so I like this. Black maxi skirt with slit from Primark, top from H&M (I think it was £3!) and my old primark sandals.

And I end this post with a boring shot of my primark nude pumps (£4) - I love them.

I'm trying hard not to buy 13442 pairs.

DIY: studded bag

Hello hello!

Another DIY post from me featuring studs.

Bag is really old (but unused) from Next, it's a soft 'leather' unstructured bag, kinda reminds me of a pumpkin handbag.

I just started studding around the base of the bag and it was looking quite cool....

.....and then it kinda went wrong.

I admit I started getting lazy so instead of sticking to my 'pattern' (keep going round and round and round) I ended up with an uncool sunburst type pattern. Not cool. I might try to save it over the weekend and stick studs in the gaps and revert back to the original 'pattern'.

Lesson learned: be patient it pays off!

OOTD

Back to basics with Thursday's cream, black and grey outfit of the day.

Charcoal grey boyfriend blazer from primark, cream top from gap, m&s trousers with turned up bottom, eBay owl pendant and my 'focco' bag.

Wore grey 'suede' pumps with bow and 'gold' detail from primark. Total wrecked on the way home when the sky split open and drowned my poor shoes. Today is Saturday and they are still damp :(

And I don't know why my feet and ankles are so fat and orange, i blame the angle and lighting. They are about 5% less fat and orange in real life lol

eBay haul

Yay eBay!

I got gifted two handbags from ebay (my choices) and I am happy happy :)

First up we have my favourite bag out of the two. I've wanted this bag for ages. It is a 'homage' to the famous Alexander Wang rocco bag, and fellow bloggers have christened this one the 'focco' (fake rocco). The Wang is £800 so erm, that's why I've got the focco (around £30-35 on ebay depending on seller).

It doesn't photograph very well (or maybe it is the photographer lol) but I think (i hope!!) once it's got some junk in it it will look great. I might do a more detailed photo blog once I've road tested it.

Next up we have a bag (Ostrich kelly bag) that I've wanted for even longer than the rocco, I've wanted this style since I worked at Gap Flagship, which was at least 5 years ago!!!

However, if I'm honest, I'm happy with it, and I like it, but it isn't love.

But anyway, I'll also photoblog this once I've roadtested it.

And lastly, I brought a notepad holder for my desk at work. I love it and I can't wait to put it on my desk on Monday.

These..things..are available from poundland/99p store types places so some people might think I got ripped off since I paid £2 (£1 for thing and £1 for postage) but I don't feel that way. My local shops didn't have it, and even when they did, they didn't have it in pink, so I think for an extra £1 (cheaper than the bus!) it was worth it for getting the one I wanted. Wow - all that for justifying £1 lol

Primark Haul

Hello!

As promised (and i kept my promise for once!) here are some pics of some of the stuff I got at Primark the other day.

For any (East) Londoners out there I just have to say a quick thing; if you haven't been to the East Ham branch since the refurbishment then you need to go! It's much bigger (double the old floor space, maybe even bigger?) and it's stocking much better stuff; more copycat items and less fleece!

I apologise that the pictures are a bit more snazzy but hey, better then nothing right?!

Above and below are the two bags I got. Exactly the same bag, one in black and the other in tan, both with 'gold'/brass? detail. I love these bags because they are massive and also becasue they have both a big arm strap and a body strap. I keep both on, looks very cool (my opinion, other people probably think i look stupid and my dad would be worried that I'd get a strap stuck in a tube door but oh well). I think they were £9 each - bargain!!

Above we have the shoes I got. I brought 3 the other day and altogether I've had 4 of these shoes (I originally got one grey pair - heel broke ouch). This time I got 2 black and one grey, the extra black is locked in my drawers at work :) They were an amazing bargain price of £8. Suedette, almond toe and a cone heel. Love love love!!!!!!
