Hello!

Erm. Apologies. Sincere apologies.

Wow, November already huh? How did that happen?

I don't want to make promises about my 'return' but at the same time, typing out my intentions (should) helps me to actually do stuff.....so NOvember is now YESvember for me.

YOU CAN DO IT, PUT YOUR BACK INTO IT!

I'm already feeling uber awkward here so I'm just going to jump straight back on the horse (is that the right saying?) and ease myself in with a tag.

I'm going to do essiebutton's and amelialiana's ME TIME TAG. Seems appropriate since I've taken a few months of me time!

What do you watch or read during Me Time?

I am slightly (extremely) embarassed to admit that I am reading a ton of kpop fanfiction. I won't even pretend to remember the last time I read an actual book. I am addicted to fanfiction. And even though it is mainly written by 13 year olds, I'm ok with that. It's a guilty pleasure and it is 'me time' so me will do what me wanna do innit!

My mind has been all over the place recently I've not really been watching anything. I can barely get through a youtube make up tutorial these days but I am hoping that this month I'll be getting my shiz together and doing important stuff that I've been neglecting - like watching vanity tours, October favs and A/W lookbooks. Don't worry people, I know what is important in life.

What do I wear during Me Time?

Wow this got personal quick! ;) Let us be real. Me Time means my nightie and maybe socks if I am feeling fancy. I don't believe in getting dressed unless I have to go somewhere or see people.

I do often think about buying fancy houseclothes (you know what I'm talking about), but then once I fill up an asos shopping basket I realise I could be spending money on real clothes instead and so that virtual basket always ends up dumped.

What are your Me Time beauty products?

It is a miracle if I brush my teeth during Me Time. But Me Time is about comfort, relaxation and replenishing oneself - so beauty products that might be utilised in this time would be coconut oil for my hair, Clinique Moisture Surge for my dry face, sudocreme for my spotty face, and lip scrub for my lips (duh).

Current favourite nail polish?

Ciate's Pocket Money, Nails Inc's Caramel and any burgundy/deep red. It is obviously A/W on my fingers!

What do you eat/drink during Me Time?

Chocolate coffee = big mug, 3 spoons of chocoalte, 2ish of coffee, 0-4 spoons of sugar, dash of hazelnut/caramel syrup (if you don't know you better get to know!), a lot of hot milk and some boiling water. It makes my heart hurt sometimes, but it is goooooooood.

I love crisps. ("I love blinking, I do.")

Current favourite candle?

Ikea's ice cream candle. Sickly sickly sweet but I can't smell it all that often so I love getting a random whiff of that sugary goodness.

Do you ever have outdoor Me Time?

NO WAY. That is an oxymoron IMO. To be outside I'd assume I'd be dressed and made up, that in itself means the situation isn't aMe Time situation. If I hear or make eye contact with another human being then that is definitely not Me Time.

Would you ever go to see a movie alone?

A part from the fact that the idea of a cinema to me is a nightmare even with a chaperone, I couldn't imagine wanting to go by myself. I guess on a less neurotic and more practical level I equate the cinema as a social activity? Something to be done with at least one other person. I couldn't imagine getting ready, travelling, paying for drinks and popcorn, paying for the movie, and then to sit there for 2 hours. And then travel home alone with no one to discuss the overpriced movie with. Maybe if this whole scenario was paid for I'd go alone....but I wouldn't count it as Me Time though.

Favourite online shop?

There are online shops I like because I know I want something from there particular, but there are some online shops that are designed so well that they are just great for browsing (as well as shopping).

I love eBay. I love searching for crap.

Asos is a brilliant website. It is so user friendly and makes virtual window shopping fun.

Anything to add?

To me, Me Time is a time to just concentrate on being me and doing nothing. That is the dream.

Me and my bloody tags again! This tag is off youtube and is 100 random questions and.....here I go :)


1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
Doors have to be open. When I was younger and living back at my parents I had a built in wardrobe put into my bedroom (I miss it sooo much!). On the first night I was sleeping and there was an almighty crash and bang, and it was from INSIDE the wardrobe. Holy crap. Holy holy crap. I was so scared I couldn't scream. I couldn't move. And no way was I going to look inside the wardrobe. I swear I spent the whole night awake in the dark staring into the direction the bang came from, just waitng for a psycho murderer to jump out. In the morning I gathered my courage and went to face 'the psycho'; erm....the rail had buckled under the weight of all my clothes and broke, and that's what the noise was. But anyway, ever since then I sleep with the doors open so that if there is a noise or psycho I can just face it/them and then sleep.

2. Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?

Hell yeah! If the hotel doesn't nail it down, I assume it's a gift.

3. Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?

Out. I do not like to feel restricted whilst sleeping. I like to bust out my break dancing moves when i'm sleeping and sometimes some kick boxing if I've had a restless day.

4. Have you ever stolen a street sign before?
No......but they don't nail them babies down so maybe I'll soon be the owner of a street sign. Actually, I think I am talking about the roadwork type signs.

5. Do you like to use post-it notes?
Yes!!!! Best thing ever. I am post it queen at work. Pink one's of course. But if I'm dealing with someone I'm not keen on I'll use blue one's.

6. Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
I always cut out coupons (vouchers right?) and I do try my best to use them but sometimes I'll be digging around in my purse and find a coupon that expired 4 months ago. Gutted.

7. Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of a bees?
A big bear. I'd be scared and I'd probably die but the one on one thing appeals to me much more. Thinking about a swarm of bees just makes me feel claustrophobic and what if one goes up my nose? YUCK!

8. Do you have freckles?
Nope.

9. Do you always smile for pictures?
I do usually smile/grimace. I try to pout but then I always say 'cheese' if instructed to do so.

10. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Filing nails in public areas.

11. Do you ever count your steps when you walk?
Quite often.  And I absolutely hate it if you don't end on a whole step (like, say you take 12 equal steps and then there one step left to take but its not as equal spaced as the other........yeah)

13. What about pooped in the woods?
Answering Q12 and 13 together. I ve not 'gone potty' in the woods. I am really good at keeping that stuff in the toilet.

14. Do you ever dance even if theres no music playing?
More of a prancer than a dancer.

15. Do you chew your pens and pencils?
No. That's unhygienic and inconsiderate.

16. How many people have you slept with this week?
None.

17. What size is your bed?
Double. But I don't understand how other people fit. I'm 5 feet 3 1/2 inches tall and there is about 2 inches spare at the foot of the bed. How do people, say 5 ft 8", sleep in a standard bed?

18. What is your Song of the week?
2pm's ADTOY (kpop song). The MV is funny (bad sexy funy) but the song is actually really decent.

19. Is it okay for guys to wear pink?
Of course it is.

20. Do you still watch cartoons?
No, but probably because I don't watch much TV at all.

21. Whats your least favorite movie?
Well, the only movie I've watched and walked out of a cinema for was George of the Jungle.

22. Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some?
 This is hard! I'm probably thinking too much into it but because the world us changing so quickly in this concrete land I'm scared I won't have access to my hidden treasure in a decade or so. Like, I was going to bury it in the park but that will probably be concreted over and turn into a shopping mall and then.....omg I'm stressed now!

23. What do you drink with dinner?
Dilute orange juice. Or blackcurrent dilute juice if I'm with A. Or diet coke if I'm having a takeaway.

24. What do you dip a chicken nugget in?
At home, ketchup and mayonnaise. At Mc D's, sweet and sour and recently loving BBQ sauce. 

25. What is your favorite food?
Chicken wings!

26. What movies could you watch over and over and still love?
Hairspray.

My mum.

I was a Brownie.

I don't think I'd ever be asked.

I write motivational post it notes to myself all the time. And they can get pretty long. Does that count?

Yes I'm lazy, It's taken me 1 year to get to question 37! lol

I was a cat. Cat mask over my NHS glasses. Scary.

I watch Hollyoaks. I love it. And I'm not ashamed. Well, I'm a bit ashamed. Am I too old to watch Hollyoaks?

A bit. Not terribly but if I was very very high up and there wasn't a substantial barrier of some kind my legs do turn to jelly but I think that level of fear is just common sense.

Hell yeah!

I dunno.

Mine isn't stressful as most. I only buy gifts for my family (mum, dad and brother) and SF's 2 kids and then Xmas dinner is just my family and is either at my parent's house or penny palace. And my mum isn't a great cook, especially with roast type food (my parents only eat roast once a year at xmas) so when it's my turn to cook it's not a stress at all.

54. Ever eat a pierogi?
I had to google this....never eaten one before but I guess I would. Looks a bit bland though.

55. Favorite type of fruit pie?
Apple!

56. Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?
A librarian or a teacher. Yeah I was a bundle of fun(!)

I guess so. I'm definitely scared of ghosts!

I wear a nightie. Cannot wear bottoms, make me feel suffocated.

My one and only concert - kpop's Bigbang. It was amazing. One thing ticked off my bucket list.

Kpop Challenge

Hello and a Happy Songkran (Thai new year) to you :)

Here with my answers to one of the many Kpop Challenges floating around the Internet. It's suppose to be one of those 15 day tags but I'm going to try and keep it shortish in one post.

I don't imagine I have any kpop fangirl readers but if you're interested in checking out the people/groups/songs google/YouTube are your best friends :)

Please remember that these answers are based on my very limited knowledge of kpop!

1. What got you into kpop? And 2. Your first kpop song?

This very blog charts day 1 of my kpop journey. The MV for Big Bang and 2ne1's Lollipop was on youtube's most watched homepage. I saw yellow people and bright colours and clicked on it and bam! I was addicted. Well, not quite. In the recommended videos was another MV, Taeyang's Where U at? I watched that and I was addicted. Loved the song and loved the singer. That discovery was also excitedly shared on this blog about 2-3 years ago! I got a bit obsessed with Taeyang but then I lost interest.....for a while...

3. Fav Kpop male group

Big Bang. Love that they're a bit less cookie cutter than the other kpop boybands. Love their sound and of course I love Taeyang!

4. Fav kpop female group

I'm going to have to say 2ne1, just cos I'm not really a major fan of any girl group. 2ne1 are with the same company as big bang and are often thought of as the girl version of big bang.

5. Fav kpop solo artist

Ok this challenge is going to lack variety but stick with what you love right?! Lol When Taeyang is not jiggling around with big bang he also does solo stuff and I love him as a solo artist. He's right up my street musically (and the toplessness) with his r'n'b swag. Yeah I said swag.

For me, a great vid needs to have at least one of the following: beautiful people; naked people; amazing styling; bright colours (no flashing is preferable) or a wicked dance scene.

8. Catchiest kpop song

Erm, Psy's Gamgnam style?! Lol Big Bang's fantastic baby and SHINee's ring ding dong.

9. Ultimate male bias

Taeyang. His only flaw is his height. And he's taller than me so that's fine! Ok he's a bit young but they're all babies in kpop land! He's talented and handsome and he doesn't seem like a douche.

10. Ultimate female bias

Ooooooooo. Hhhhhhmmmmm I guess Park Bom from 2ne1. I find her kinda fascinating. And she's shipped with my 2nd bigbang bias TOP so I was crazily obsessed for a while. Her plastic face and long legs are just wow. And whenever I'm tempted to add an extra shovel of eye make up I think of her. And she can sing.

11. Best Male Dancer

Taeyang. I swear to god! When I went to the big bang concert with my friend who knows absolutely nothing about kpop she chose him as her bias and now refers to him as 'the little dancer'. Boy can move. And apart from gyrating he can actually properly dance.

12. Best female dancer

I don't know! I've seen a lot of good dancers but don't know their names. The girls from SNSD are really good dancers in my opinion but I can't pick one. And their choreography is always really good so YouTube SNSD MV and you won't be disappointed.

13. Best Male vocalist.

Now this is a hard one. Because there
are many great vocalists. I think the level of talent in kpop shocked me when I started getting into it. They are not just a bunch of pretty boys. And even the cheesy novelty groups are...ok. Anyway! Erm...Taeyang! Lol I really like his voice. He is not the best vocalist for sure, but he's my best vocalist. Aaaaaw :) lol listen to his English covers of please don't judge me, and I miss you.

14. Best female vocalist

One month ago I would have struggled. But without a doubt the best female vocalist is Lee Hi. She's only 16 but her voice is amazing. And shocking. Does not sound like a voice like that could come out of someone so young, or from a kpop idol! Listen to Special, or to her cover of pussycat dolls Sway. Breath taking.

15. Best male rapper

Ooooh. I like a lot of rappers. What do we base this on? I can't pick one so I'm going to name a few. Sorry for cheating! TOP is a good rapper (mainly because of his sexy voice) but he definitely isn't the best, especially these days since he spends more time posing than rapping. G Dragon? Love his flow and his words. Bang and Zelo from B.A.P (listen to warrior) - they are newer versions of GD&TOP (listen to knock out). And i think a lot of people will be like wtf?! But I really
like Jay Park. Listen to Appetizer and tell me he can't rap.

16. Best female rapper

Obvious choice - CL from 2ne1. Tbh I'm not blown away when I hear her rap but I respect that she is actually a rapper and she is good no doubt.

17. Best Male leader

G Dragon. Despite not being the oldest member of the group (big bang) and despite his scandals I think he an inhuman level of skill, passion and drive. G by name G by nature!

18. Best female leader.

I'll be honest, don't know and don't care. I think it's harder to lead a girl group cos it's just take off your clothes and wiggle. There's not much room to prove yourself tbh. Sorry girl power!

Another random beauty tag

Hello! It's me again. Do you like the Lindt that is as big as my head?! Another random beauty tag for you. I'm sure pictures and product info would have been handy but maybe next time. I was just enjoying typing so much and didn't want to stop.

1. Where do you store your makeup?


Make up is stored on top, under and inside my make up table (the malm from Ikea cos I am that much of a sheep).

2. How many makeup products do you own?

I don't think it's very polite to ask a lady this question!!! ;) I'm the queen of bulk buying so although I don't use a lot of products daily, I have a shit load. Between 1-100 is a safe estimate I think?


3. How many makeup products do you actually use daily?


2 foundations
2 concealers
2 (sometimes 3!) mascaras
Eyeliner
Eyeshadow
Eyebrow something
Clear mascara
Powder
Blusher or bronzer

And very seldomly do I use a lip product.
Wow that looks like a lot no wonder why I'm always late/I look so orange!

4. How many eyeliners do you own?


Jeez. Maybe 15?! 20?! It's just one of those things you keep buying and never throw away. Plus I love eyeliner it's def the one product I'd pick over the rest. I need eyeliner.

5. How many foundations do you own?

Maybe 10? Because of bulk buying and being an awkward colour.

7. How many concealers do you own?

Four. Laura Mercier, benefit, collection 2000 and natural collection (used as
Eyelid primer. Oh crap, plus two Clinique's and an aldi one. Seven. But I use them all really often. And this face needs concealing!

8. How many Mascaras do you own?


7 in use. I like using loads of different ones altogether, it works best for me.

9. How many Lip Glosses do you own?


Maybe 15? But I dont even really use them but my mum loves buying lipgloss and she doesn't wear it either. But one of my beauty aims this year is to use them up. Ive plopped a handful in my draw
at work and instead of reaching for my Vaseline I try to apply lipgloss instead. Unfortunately this means I have also rubbed lipgloss onto my face and eaten it too. Vaseline is much lower maintenance and yummier.

10. How many Lipsticks do you own?


Maybe only 5-10. Thank god I'm not addicted to lip products cos I see some girls be going cray cray over that shizzle!

11. How many nail polish do you own?


Oh crap. Didn't realise this was the next question. My name is Penny and I am a hypocrite and I'm cray cray about nail polish. I tried to count the other day actually but once I reach 99 I stopped. I def have under 150. I think. I hope.

12. How many Eyeshadows or Eyeshadow palettes do you own?


I like this question! Doesn't make me look too bad. I have 5, and two are the same (back up eyeshadow).

13. How many Perfumes do you own?


I probably have too much perfume for someone who is anosmic but they loom pretty. I think a perfume collection post might be due yaaaay(!!)

Great Expectations tag 2013

It has been a tough few months for me, but maybe I'll tell you another time.I am here now and bring you a  belated tag for the new year (holy cow it's nearly March 2013?!?!).

1. Beauty Bad Habit to Get Rid Of...
I can't think of anything beyond spots. I'm good at moisturising and taking off my make up at night. But I can't stop touching (murdering) my spots. Delightful!

2. Beauty Secret to Add This Year...
Tangle teezer! I haven't even had this a week and my life is already better for having it (does that make sense?!) will do a review soon. But long story short, get one!

3. Last Years Beauty Favorite...
Dove Pro Age shampoo. Glamorous I know but really like this shampoo. Make up wise....mua black eyeshadow? (shade 20). Not exciting but I wear it everyday and I can't imagine what I'd use instead of it.

4. Beauty/Body Goal for 2013...
I'm not going to even lie and say 'lose weight'. Cos I'm greedy and lazy. Beauty goal is to sort my hair out. It's definitely falling out less and I just need to keep looking after it and hopefully soon enough it will be my (literal) shining glory once more.

5. Last Years Biggest Fashion Mistake...
Hands down my biggest fashion mistake was me in a maxi skirt. I got called so many mean names and I still insisted on rocking that. And oops I just bought another maxi last week hahaha It's only clothes man, chill out!

6. This Years Fashion Trend Prediction...
Is black and white a trend?! A trend that never ends? And sweaters. Jumpers.

7. This Years Fashion Must have...
I have no idea. But I loved all the pleather, metal hardware, fur and leopard print we've been wearing. I don't want to wear a pastel dress covered in daisies. Please!!!

8. Last Years Happiest moment/biggest Achievement...
This was my happiest moment and also biggest achievement and actually something on the bucket list I posted on here ages ago...I went to a music concert in Wembley. The fact that I managed to get all the way to Wembley was a big achievement already but the concert..it was bloody amazing. I don't know if I could do it again but it was great. This is going to be a bit wtf, but I went to see kpop boyband Big Bang and wow fantastic baby (you'd get that if you were a big bang fan!). So I'm happy cos the concert was mind blowingly good and cos ...I went to a bloody concert in an enclosed space yay me!

9. Last Years Biggest Challenge...
The reason why I've been away; my mum was really ill. Biggest challenge ever.

10. This Years key Resolution...
Linked to the above miserable event; live love and laugh. I'm fabulous at laughing but not so great at loving and even worse at living. To be honest at times I only know I'm alive cos I'm breathing. Alive but not living. And blah blah blah

Johnny Depp. I knew everything about him. I wrote to him. I had books, posters, postcards, stickers. And thanks to R and J I also have a wall (!!!) sized cardboard movie poster of him.

A lot of people will agree, and a lot will disagree but I respect Lady Gaga for her talent. I;m not really a fan, but I give her big props for what she does. She is a show woman, a pure star and she always gives 1000% and I respect her for that.

Is a celebrity not a human being ? Anyway, I'd pick Drew Barrymore. She is weird, and a bit crazy, but she also seems like she'd be a good friend to talk to and shop with. Can't really ask for more. Keira Knightley. Everyone seems to love her and I do not. I won't say I hate her, but seriously, overrated in every way. A) She can't act. She's even shit in the commercials for god's sake. Paris Hilton. People love to laugh at her and say horrible things, but I really really like her. I think she is inspiring. Sure she was born rich and famous but hey, she's built on that. (Sure now she thinks she is in love and a body builder but hopefully this is just a phase and she goes back to Barbie Paris soon!)

I had to google this. And it was really disappointing (no offense celebs); everyone was so old and kinda past their sell by date (sorry sorry sorry!!) The most famous two (to me) were Woody Allen and Bette Midler. Kinda weird though because from their public persona they each reflect a bit of me, Woody - the weird kooky me, and Bette, the in-your-face drama queen me.

Alexandra Burke of X Factor 'fame'. Annoying? I hate her! I didn't mind her when she was on the show, but afterwards? OMG. Her face, her voice, the crap she says, her god awful clothes and her synthetic pop songs just make my blood boil. And her weave?! You can cut that horse hair you know, you don't have to glue it straight to your head! I just feel she's too big for her boots and loud. Get out of my face please!

My celeb is 20 on the dot (21 in Feb 2012) so not sure if I am 'cheating' but my fav young celeb is Emma Robert (niece of Julia Roberts). I think her acting is great, and she is pretty and seems nice. She's already had a good career for her age but I hope her star continues to rise.

Dame Judy Dench, 76 years old!!!!! (I didn't realise she was that age, she is looking good!!). I've picked Dame Judy for a really lame reason. Truth be told I don't like her and think's she overrated (so shoot me) but when I was in secondary school the classes in my year were named after English actresses (other year's were named after female scientists, sportswomen, female authors (I went to a girls school). So the name Dench is a part of my life and history, and a part of me. So even though I don't like her I also cheer her on because it is like cheering myself on(!)

TAG: 10 Little Secrets

Hello Guys :)

How is everyone? Today I'm going to do a tag (started by youtube's beautycrush) and of course I tag all of you to do it too :)

1. What is one product that makes you feel like a million dollars?

Eye liner. If I was dressed in designer togs complete with accessories, bling and professional hair and make up, I would not feel a million dollars without eyeliner. 

2. What is your skincare secret? / A passed down skin care tip

I don't have a skincare secret. But my mum always told me to a) make sure all my make up is off my face at bedtime but b) be gentle on the eye area. 

3. Share your hair care secret?

I think that with hair, the less you do the better. Otherwise, in terms of a tip I would say use as less as heat as you can. I try to let my hair dry naturally as long as possible before blow drying and unless it's a special day I'll only straighten the top layers and front rather then torture my whole head of hair. 

4. What is your biggest diet rule?

HAHAHAHA I won't be a hypocrite and tell you what to eat. 

5. Any workout tips?

Same as above. 

6. Which perfume is your secret weapon?

Victoria Beckham! It's lush and people do comment on it and it's definitely a secret!

7. Show us a clothing item of yours which always turns heads

I can't do this one - but I would say 'sexy dress photo 5' which has been on this blog a few times. It's just a plain black work dress but the shape and fit is nice.

8. What is your most treasured piece of jewellery?

I have a penny coin instead a gold case that my dad got made for me. I don't wear it but I treasure it. 

9. Who is your style crush?

My style crush is.....Diane Kruger. A bit random but I like her feminine style. Stylish and modern but often lady like with a twist. I like her hair too. 

10. Tell us something we don't know about you.

Shall I keep this fashion/beauty based? I have really fat ear lobes (thanks daddy) and so I can't wear studs because they point upwards rather then face forwards.

I can't pick a favourite, I love all the tacky heart warming movies that come on during Christmas time.

2. Whats Your Favorite Christmas Colour?
My favourite colour to wear is 'christmas green'. I find it so refreshing and warming at the same time.

3. Do You Like To Stay in Your PJs Or Dress Up For Christmas?
Dress up!!! Though it can be a bit uncomfortable after a big dinner lol

4. If You Could Only Buy One Person a Present This Year Who Would It Be?
If I could only buy one present every christmas it would have to be for my 'baby' borther J. I love buying him gifts because he is so unlike me and likes proper presents as opposed to the practical stuff I enjoy. Buying presents for J is the only time post penny palace that I get to go to 'fancy' shops. Even on a budget this year his present was from Sloane Square.

5. Do You Open Your Present Christmas Eve Or Christmas Morning?
Well since I moved out we open our presents after Christmas dinner but when I was younger my dad made us wait until Boxing Day!!!!!

No, but I would love to!

Nothing. Eat, sleep, watch bad tv, and then eat some more.

I can't smell so I dont have one. At least I can't smell brussell sprout induced farts hahaha!

Christmas food is really special to me. I don't come from a culture that has a Sunday roast so for me Christmas time is the only time I have that type of meal so I love it all; the potatoes, yorkshire pudding, meat, trimmings, even the sprouts! My favourite thing is stuffing. What a wonderful thing! I love cranberry sauce but have to always buy it myself cos noone else in my family has it. And my mum always makes me eat the whole jar so it's not wasted so once a year is good enough for me. FYI I HATE mince pies. Yuck.

As in perfume, well I can't smell it properly but JPG was my winter fragrance, and now on a budget it's Victoria Beckhams :)

1. What’s a nickname only your family calls you?

Apart from the obvious versions of Penny (my brother calls me Pen) my mum calls me Nin and my dad calls me Pinky.

2. What’s a weird habit of yours?

I always rub the side of my nose (right hand side). This started out for a 'real' reason but now it's just a habit.

3. Do you have any weird phobias?

.....I have lots of phobias. And I am neurotic. So does that make all my phobias weird? I'm scared of pineapples but that's because I am allergic so it's more of a survival instint, and though it's weird it is not stupid.

4. What’s a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when you’re alone?

Hero, Mariah Carey. Or Whitney's I will always love you.

5. What’s one of your biggest pet peeves?

People who file their nails in public. Hate.

Foundation.

Ok, that's a word and not a rule. But basically all the foundation rules - I judge other people for breaking them but I'm always breaking them myself. Wrong colour, too heavy, tide mark, patchy, too glittery, too dry. I break all the rules. I am a rebel.

11. Which way do you face in the shower?

I usually face the shower apart from when I rinse out my shampoo then I face away from the shower head. Is that what the question is asking?

I have double jointed shoulder so I can turn my arms 'backwards'. I'm trying to turn my head all the way round (!!!!) so that I will look like the front from the back.....every girl needs an ambition!

1. What is your favourite smell?
Not off to a great. start. Can't smell much so don't really want to name a favourite cos not sure what I'm missing out on. But the one smell I miss being able to smell whenever I want is the smell of my mum's face powder. I remember from growing up that it was 'mummy's smell' and it makes my heart meeeeelt.

2. What is your favourite mode of transportation?
I love the bus. And not just because I'm scared of being underground. I like watching the scenery, or even staring at the other traffic. I like looking into shop windows and staring at the people walking on the street. I don't like looking at fellow passengers though. And I like ringing the 'stop' bell :)

3. If you could only live in one country for the rest of your life, which country would it be, and why?
I'd say here. I don't have the travel bug. I don't believe the grass is greener. And we (I) am lucky to live in this country. It could be much much worse. Be grateful. Appreciate. Love. *group hug*

4. What is one thing that you absolutely have to do before you die?
Confess my sins. I want someone, anyone, to know who I truly was before I leave this earth.

5. How do you feel about a woman changing her name when she marries?
When I was younger I wanted to get married asap so that I could take on a different surname and get rid of my lame moniker but now, if I was to marry, I would want to keep mine, even as a double barrelled surname or something. In regards to women in general, whatever. Sometimes people look tooooo much into things. If you want to change it, change it. Unless he does physically chain you to the kitchen sink.....blah blah blah

6. What is your favourite way of keeping up on current events?
Well, I'll be honest. I just understood the whole Chilean miner problem today. When they are being rescued. So I don't really keep up on current events (unless you count celeb, fashion and make up - cos I look online for that sort of current events 24/7 online!!) My mum thinks its terrible that I don't know what's happening in the world (and its not useful for my job not to know who the prime minsiter is) but *shrugs*. Ignorance is bliss!

7. If your significant other had a terrible habit that you couldn't stand, would you tell him/her?
I think I would. I'm that sort of person.

8. How do you deal with body-negative people in your everyday life?
I deal by doing nothing. Is that bad? Am I suppose to be a screeching (fat) haridan waving the banner for plus size girls? That's just another label. I am human-size. And so are you and you and you. There's so much negativity everywhere. Being fat is just another thing for people to discriminate against me about, but hey, that's their problem not mine.

....and isn't it weird how we associate body-negative with fat? Or is it me being paranoid?

I actually think it's 'wrong' (for want of a better word) that people can say to a skinny person nasty things, or ask if they are anorexic but generally when you are around the obsese you don't say anything and tip toe around the elephant. haha elephant. fat fat fatty!!!

I'm on a roll!

1. What's your favorite dish/food and why?

Ok, this is really lame. But I'm going to be honest and say chicken wings and chips! Reason being, whenever I go abroad or even in an area where I'm away from any dodgy chicken shops (e.g. Wrexham, Canterbury, Cambridge) I really miss my chicken wings and chips. Don't judge me!!!!!!!

2. What's your favorite girl and boy name?

My favourite boy name is Ryan. Ryan was the name of my first hard core love (ok, crush), and so anyone I meet called Ryan gets an automatically step up the likeability ladder.
Favourite girl name.....something girly. Poppy. Lily. Rosie. (Doesn't have to be a flower though!) Or if I want to be brutally honest, if I have a daughter I think I'll call her Aprillia Mercedes (Yup, a bike and a car!!). Moi ish chavtastic :)

3. What is your favorite piece of clothing and why?

Favourite piece of clothing is....

....at the moment, my wrap coat (newlook). I love it. It makes me feel pretty and cool.
....Also, my asos curve dress aka 'photo 5' - it makes me feel sexy and confident, grown up and sassy. And it makes me appreciate my shape, which is not always the case.

4. What is your greatest memory in life today?

Wow, tough! Depends how you define 'great'. Does that mean best? Or most fun? Most special? Most proud?Life changing?

Ok ok, I'm trying to think what day I will remember always, and this is really lame sounding but one of my greatest memories (and I can still remember the way my heart felt), was when I was told I was successful getting the job role I'm currently getting. I really didn't think I would, even though I knew that I would be the best for the role (a. life isn't fair and b. you have to believe in yourself!).

I'm not often a winner in life, but that one moment really changed things for me and has led to amazing days and more great memories.

Primark, standard!!
Asos, obviously.
And.....Marks and Spencers lol I don't buy a lot from here, but it's a store that I can depend on and if I ever need a last minute outfit I know that I can count on good old M&S!

I love that i am emotional. At least I can empathise with others. It makes me strong, not weak.

3. Who is your style icon?

I've never thought of this before....I like a lot of people's style. But because of my size I don't have an icon. There is no one that I can look up to and try to emulate (which is a shame).

5.When you were a kid, what did you want to become when you grow up?

I wanted to be a teacher or an architect. Because I enjoyed making up names to call out at registration, and because I like using video tapes to build buildings lol

6. 5 years from now, when you look back at this phase in your life, what do you think you’ll say?

I'm glad I had more happy days then bad days. I'm happy with the friends I have and the things I'm doing. I'm proud I achieved a lot in this time. And I'm happy I kept a blog to record my thoughts and hauls lol

7.What kind of music are you into?

Pop, R 'n' B, Commercial rap/hip hop

8. What is the most important lesson you have learnt in you life so far?

Try and be happy in your own skin. Please yourself first before trying to please other people (in the nicest way possible)!
