Sleek - blush by 3 in Pumpkin review

I AM IN LOVE!!!!

My 3rd Sleek palette and argh look at the pigmentation!!!!!!!!

The Sleek Blush by 3 palette in Pumpkin (rrp £9.99).

Basically, orange, hot pink and red: latern, squash and p pie (not in order).
Which I know sounds crazy but it works. The trick is to blend blend blend.

I do not, i repeat I do not wear my blusher this low down but I just wanted to show you that  a gentle dab gives you colour but is not scary (I hope that doesn't look scary?)

Sleek - Face Form review

Hi Guys,

Another product I am loving - the Sleek face form palette. One of Sleek's most popular products was the Contour Kit (which I have yet to get my hands on), and that contained a contouring and highlighting powder - this is a slightly more pimped up product with the addition of a blusher/bronzer.

This retails for £9.99 (I got mine as a 3 for 2) and I got mine in the shade 'light'. The face form palette comes in 4 shades: fair, light , medium and dark. Confusingly fair and light are the same, and then medium and dark are the same. Medium and dark consists of a bronzer, highlighter and contour shade, whilst the fair and light swaps bronzer for a blusher - specifically a rose gold blush. I could have gone for the medium palette but I have a few shimmery bronzers I'm already working through so thought that the blusher would be of better value to me.

I must say, I love Sleek.. The pigmentation is amazing. The contour shade is nice and matt and works well on my colouring. I'm not very good at applying the highlight shade but I'm practising - some days I get it right, most days I look like a member of Twilight. At first I was not keen on the blusher (I made the purchase online without swatching in store - FYI that is how much I trust Sleek!) as I'm also not great with applying blusher and I thought this was too shimmery (it is a shimmery rose gold) but now that I'm use to wearing blusher I like this shade on me - and sometimes I even top it up with my other Sleek blusher shades to give it extra pop! I look like a clown but I think it's quite cute in the winter. Or maybe I look like I have swine flu. Whatever - I really enjoying using the face form palette in conjunction with my ther Sleek blush palettes.

Are you a Sleek fan? I think my aim in life is to buy all the blush palettes - dream big girls(!)

Review: Sleek blush by 3 in Sugar

Hi guys!
As mentioned in my previous post my mum gave me a blush palette - Sleek's blush by 3 palette in Sugar to be precise.
Sleek is well known for their brilliant quality and great priced make up. Their products are well known for having great colour pay off and this palette doesn't let down their reputation.
Blusher was not a part of my every day face routine previously; partly because I can't get the hang of how/where to apply it and also because red pigment blushes break me out.
My skills haven't improved and red pigments still break me out but since this was gifted and I had happened to buy a new blush brush I thought I'd give it a go....and I haven't looked back since!
I really like this palette and am tempted to buy others. I probably would not have picked this palette out myself but my mum obviously has a better eye than me cos I think these shades are good for my skin tone and perfect for autumn/winter.
Colour wise we have:
Turbinado - my favourite shade on myself - a matte orange.

Muscovado - a shimmery bronze looking shade but with a reddy tone once applied to the face. Amazing pigmentation - but this also means you need a very very very light hand.

Demerara - a reddy brown matte shade - I've been using this the least due to the red pigments but it is a gorgeous colour.

Action shot of the blusher and blush brush! lol

As I've said - I love it -  a palette is usually about £10 but they're 3 for 2 at Superdrugs at the moment. Tempted to get Pumpkin and Lace, and also one of the new contour kits mmmmmm

Natural Collection (mini) Haul

Hi Guys,

As I mentioned in the last post (matte notd) its 3 for 2 at Boots so I also got some other bits and bobs.

Natural collection is Boots cheapy brand of make up and all items cost less then £2 and they usually have a 3 for £5 offer on, but with the 3 for 2 promo going on I got all 3 products [pictured above] for £3.98!!!!!!!

I got a colour foundation in almond rrp £1.99. I am not expecting much from this coverage wise; not even sure if the colour is a decent match cos the security guard was stalking me (hate it!) but I thought that I would keep this in my make up bag or at my workstation for any unexpected touch ups. All I hope is that it (and the rest) doesn't break me out!

This blusher is the reason why I was browsing the natural collection section - this is one of the products beauty bloggers are raving about so I had to be my usual sheep self and get my hands on one too!!

It is a blusher in shade "pink cloud" and rrp is £1.99. Erm, I'm not too sure what to say apart from it's a pretty pink and for £1.99 its good but staying power isn't great but you get what you paid for.

And lastly, the product I'm most excited about. Basically, for blemishes (aka the craters on my face!) I use Clinique's concealer in 04/medium ('line smooth concealer' rrp £14) which is actually for concealing lines and wrinkles but I find the consistency perfect for truly fugly spots but I'm literally scraping the bottom of the barrel and would be happy to repurchase bar the price so I thought that for £1.99 I can risk trying this out and then if I do end up having to repurchase I haven't really wasted any money.

So I haven't actually put it on properly yet but so far my swatches seem good. [Below] the left swatch is natural collection in medium and right swatch is clinique. As you can see the natural collection concealer is slighty lighter which isnt ideal because clinique's was as perfect a match as you could wish for BUT since winter is fast approaching the slightly lighter natural collection should be fine. Plus once foundation and powder is on and blend blend blend no one will no the difference.

So all in all I am really happy with my £3.98 haul lol

Have you tried natural collection? Any recommendations?
