!!! Comments

I mentioned in a recent blog that someone said commenting on my posts was a bit of a hassle so I've just gone to the comment moderation section and.....well, not too sure what the problem is.....?

You don't need to leave an email or even a user name to leave a comment.

And I've just disable that shite type a word thingy (I despise those things; I can never read the word and always get accused of being a robot spammer!) - I'll keep an eye on this incase I do suddenly get 13432525 comments from robots....though robot comments are better then no comments I feel. But anyway.

Erm, yeah. So please do comment on my posts if you like, hate, agree, disagree, or whatever. It lets me know someone is reading. And it keeps me typing.

Thanks!

Hello!

Apologies in advance for this super lame post. Basically I was planning to use today and tomorrow to post some topical (or something with an actual point) stuff but then i woke up sick as a dog (well actually i went to bed sick as a dog, and woke up as a sicker dog) and so i really don't have the energy to engage my brain cells and to hook up my camera etc.

Erm, so basically this is a post to say that i am sick......*sad face*

I'm well gutted cos I seldom get 2 whole days off work and i had so much planned. I wanted to do 'good' posts, super clean my apartment and then hang out with my mum tomorrow cos she's off work too. Reality was: I did nothing today. I stayed in bed and played on ipenny and read a book. And then when i finished the book i moved onto my sofa and played on my laptop (watched latest doctor who episode) and started a second book. I've only had 1 meal today (rice porridge) and its just gone 10pm and i'm not even hungry.

Also, spoke to my mum and tomorrow is up in the air: depends on how i am in the morning. This has nothing to do with me and how i actually feel but to do with damage/germ control; I don't want to see my mum if theres a high risk of her getting sick too (aka she doesnt want to see me).

And the other reason why i'm gutted is cos i bought loads (slight exaggeration) of groceries on friday ready for the bank holiday weekend and i havent been able to cook or eat. Apart from losing your appetite when I'm ill I also can't bear to handle raw meat. I wanted chicken wings at some point but the thought of having to clean and marinate them make my stomach turn....(which is why i really hope my mum does come to see me cos then she can cook the chicken wings!!!)

Well, I hope that you are in better health then moi.

Goodnight x

Pinch punch

On the way home from my Saturday job now. The time didn't fly by like
I was hoping but overall it was a good day.

A massive congratulations to the (ex) assistant store manager who is
marrying his fiancé in Scotland today. Well gutted that I couldn't go
(no money). L has fine with T so I hope they are having a great time.

It is raining and loads of traffic in the Westminster area. When I
went to lunch at 1pm the sun was beating down so god knows what
happened to that.

For lunch I had a salad and chicken wings and water. Needless to say I
am currently starving on the bus. I think I might have a million bacon
sarnies when I get home, perfect 'meal' rain or shine!!

Speaking to S from work today about my blog....she said she can't
comment below because you have to sign up and stuff so I'm going to
check the settings and see if I can change it....I'll post an update
if I do change it.

Really can't believe it's may already!! I can still remember typing my
new year's blog entry and my resolution to update. I guess now would
be a good time to admit that Im no linger entering the gmtv £25000 (I
think it's £24000 now, credit crunch?!) competition. 2 reasons
really: trying to not watch gmtv so much cos it slows me down in the
morning and I need every second to get ready and out of the door at a
reasonable time, and becase I'm too lazy to go online and enter, it's
quite a slow process. I guess that's the end of my £25000 dream!

Today I found out that I have to book my annual leave for the year
(now til march 2011). I had 45 hours which equates to basically 5
shifts or 6 shifts and I lose a bit of pay. I've already booked 2 days
for the July wedding so I've got 3/4 days left....I always feel like
I'm signing my soul to the devil when I plan that far ahead!!! Usually
it's much more stressful because I wouldt know when I'm taking my bog
holiday but this time it's not really a biggie since I realy can't
imagine me being able to afford to get on a plane before marxh 2011.
And if by some miracle I find myself wiping arse with £50 notes I
could use it to pimp my house and buy proper nice food :) Just not
having to worry about bills would be a holiday for me!

Wow, apart from the shite weather and bits of traffic this is the best
bus journey; I'm on the top deck and including myself there's only 6
other passengers so no loud tourists getting on my nerves.

Ooooh my 3 blessings:
1. The good bus journey as just mentioned
2. the visit to Wrexham
3. Got to spend quality time with a superviser who doesn't usually do
Saturdays.

Ok, half way to Liverpool st sation, time to crank up the volume on my
ipenny :)

I <3 Wrexham

Hello everybody!

So, I went to Wrexham (in Wales) on Wednesday and got back to London
Thursday night. I went for 'business reasons'.

I went with my managers (A and M) and a lady from a different office
(J) made up our jolly group of 4.

It was such a laugh!!! As you guys know I don't like to leave known
surroundings but honestly I was laughing so much I didn't hve time to
freak out.

So Wednesday morning I went into my office because we're currently
training people so wanted to touch base and set them up with tasks
over out absence. Left a bit after 12pm (after I changed out of my
office clothes and into leggings, flats and a long top) and caught the
train from euston to Chester and then Chester to Wrexham. The journey
was 50/50 great/crap. It was great because of the company; i sat with
M and like I said we had jokes all the way. But it was also awful
because apart fromthe air con being out of order there was also
something wrong with the heating so they couldn't turn it off/down so
it was absolutely boiling. Train was packed but they were moving
'vulerable' customers ie people with young children into first class
because it was that hot. I offered to pretend to be M's child but he
declined so we put up with the heat. I think I lost about 6stones lol
(thumbs down for virgin trains).

Got to the hotel a bit after 5. The hotel was gorgeous and the staff
friendly, and if for any reason i find myself in Wrexham again I would
be more then happy to say there again (thumbs up for Wrexham ramada!)

We checked in an agreed to meet in the hotel bar in an hour. I
unpacked and filmed a room tour and then took a shower (felt so good
after that sardine tin!) and got dressed up. It was nice wearing heels
but knowing your flats are only a lift ride away.

Well we basically drank from 6pm-12am (I was on diet cokes and
lemonades) with a short break for dinner. Dinner was delicious!! 3
course meal, I had: chicken liver parfait with spicy fruit chutney for
starters, steak with mushroom and mustard sauce for mains and a
chocolate fudge cake with icecream for dessert. Happy tummy :)

Thursday: I got a wake up call at 7am (as requested at reception when
I checked in). Everyone else requested there's for 8am but I needed
the time to preen myself!!

As I got dressed I had the tv tuned into gmtv which was nice, made mr
feel not so far from home.

I wore a black pencil skirt and my peterpan collar heart print top.
Went down breakast (included in room price) and ate some lovely yummy
sausages, hashbrowns and mushrooms.

When I went back to my room to pack away the last bits of pieces i
decided to change my top cos I they clashed with my shoes; wore my
chiffon fly button top with fluttery sleeves instead.

We cheked out and caught a cab to the office, got there super early as
it was about a 5minute drive away!

The Wrexham office was great and it was def worth the trip, learned
loads. And super jealous cos they have a canteen in their building!

Left there a bit after 3pm to catch the 4pm train to Chester and then
the 4.35 train back to euston. I must say, apart from the heating
issues on the way in the trains were good: clean and all 4 trains were
on time.

Got to Stratford and treated myself to a Chinese takeaway and got in
doors about 8.30pm.

Home sweet home. Fingers crossed fr more business trips in the near
future!

Zombie girl

Morning.

Argh I feel (and look) like one of the living dead.

Just got on my connecting tube. Definitely late :( feels like my nose
is going to start bleeding/I'm goin to throw up but hopefully I make
it into work first. I'll die of embarassmn if any bodily fluids depart
my body whilst I'm on the train!!!

Weather is miserable but I prefer that it starts off crappy so at
least idontget caught later on wearing sandals in the rain!

I hope today flies by pls pls pls god!!
