Mother knows best. (IHaul and review)

Went on a mini shopping spree. Was suppose to be returning stuff in Primark but it's not my fault that stores put their customer service/return tills right at the back of the store. How is a girl suppose to walk past all the merchandise and ignore it?! I'm only flesh and blood.

I will try to put pics on, but you know what I'm like.

From Primark I got:
2 bags (same bag, one in black, one in tan)
3 pairs of shoes (same shoes, 2 in black, 1 in grey - my last grey pair broke)
A bra (!)
Jeggings...hope they fit, but bargain at £7-8!
4 hair thingys, 2 normal things, and 2 of the cutest bow thingys.

I went into Superdrugs because I really wanted to buy a Miss Sporty nail varnish that Cee was wearing yesterday, and a bargain at about £2! But when i got to the stand, there were two very similiar colours so I couldn't work out which one I wanted....I've FB'd her asking for the name so fingers crossed I shall have it soon.

So anyway I went to look for a £2 nail polish and came out spending nearly £20 ek!
I got 4 nail polishes (Barry M nail paint in MUSHROOM YAAAAAAAY and Lemon Ice cream, and Rimmel's Urban Princess and Beige style YAAAAY!!) and one face pressed powder (Rimmel Stay Matte in 006 Champagne).

I did need the face powder cos mine has nearly run out. I must say, if you are on a budget, Rimmel's stay matte is a great product. I initally got one ages ago and I hated it, but then it was on offer so I got another one and I fell in love after day 1; turns out the first compact I got was the wrong shade for me whereas Champagne is pretty good, especially with a bit of bronzer over it. And surprisingly for such a bargain product it doesn't break me out! For under £5 I will keep using this until it's discontinued!

I haven't unpacked my 'primarni' stuff yet so no comment for now, likewise I haven't tried my nail polishes yet (not even the long awaited mushroom and beige style) but I tried on the lemon ice cream nail paint and I HATE IT.

I know that I haven't discussed this on here but for a while now I have been hankering to take part in the current 'ice cream' trend for nail colours; I've literally been dreaming of either Barry M or Revlon in berries, or baby blue, sherbet yellow, candy floss pinks (n.b. these are my names for the colours, not official, don't ask in store for them lol!) and I've been ummming and aaaring for a while. In fact, I was even discussing it with Cee yesterday about how much I wanted a pale yellow (baby yellow?!) but that I was hesitant because my mum told me that if I painted my nails yellow I would look like I had a disease. To be fair (to myself) I think my mum was speaking about sunshine yellow (which i also want!). (I've always loved nail polish. I can remember in primary school I wore a lot of neon orange on my fingers, and my favourite was actually a baby blue with multi colour glitter chunks in it, classy!)

But anyway, the point is I should have listened to my mum. Mother knows best. What a waste of money lemon ice cream was. DO NOT BUY IT!!! I guess the colour is not bad (on short fingernails) but I can't really tell because the consistency is CRAP. I think that this is the crappest bottle of nail polish I have ever had. I am really disappointed, and tbh, really angry, I could have spent that money on a colour that I would wear again, as opposed to this shite. I've got 3, yes THREE coats on and its so streaky and you can still see some of my natural nail bed. WTF?!

I really truly hope that mushroom does not disappoint me, becasue I have been waiting to get my (ugly lemon nails) on it for ages, so (ugly lemon) fingers crossed.

What product (any kind, electrical, kitchen appliance, make up, shoes etc) have you bought that you were really excited about that turned out to be a big fat disappointment?
