Asos in a box
YAY my most successful ASOS haul (in terms of the dresses, not the experience BOOOOOO!)
So I was shocked when I went to pick up my parcel from the post office and she handed me this big box instead of the usual ASOS black bag. I was going to say this wasn't mine but I saw the 'asos' so *shrugs* This box housed 8 dresses *gulp* but like I said, this is my last asos haul for...a while. A) because the service was bad and they need to be punished; B) I'm broke!!! and C) I have run out of wardrobe space; the rail broke yesterday lol
Please note, apart from the dresses shown I also received an additional 3 dresses which were dupes of my favourites from previous hauls. Cos I'm sad like that. "Love it, get it" - I might get that tattoed onto myforehead ;)
Sorry that all the pics are the wrong way round - if anyone knows how to rotate please send me a comment! Thanks :)
[Above] First up we have a black linen workwear dress. This is the same as I got in my last haul but in a bigger size. The fit last time was fine but it was way too short, I'm glad to announce that the length of this is fine back and front and I'm so happy it fits cos I did love it first time round.
[Above] Next we have a dress from the 'normal' aka non-curve range. It's not a great picture since the dress is so so creased so it hangs a bit funny but I do love it. It's a gorgeous peach shade, but not a bright peach and I think the colour suits me. I do look a bit pregnant in this dress but i don't care. The sleeves are fluttery and the hem goes up at the front. Very pretty dress; wish I had this to wear for the wedding!!! This dress came in about 5 colours, I also wanted it in a royal blue and of course black but they're out of stock in my size. Nevermind, I think I've got enough black dresses!!!
[Above] This is a surprise purchase and love! This is the same dress I got (and returned) in my 1st ever asos haul, the flamingo pink one that I couldn't even photogragh myself in because it was beyond hideous. Well, amazing what difference black can make!!! I paid £32 for the pink one and afterwards the black one went down to £20 so i thought i'd give it a go and WOW!!! I think I might wear this to SF's house tomorrow (birthday party). The only thing I worry about is the material - it's really thin and thin material = roll of flab escaping!!!
[Above] This dress.....hhhmmm I don't know. It's definitely a keeper but it's a 'like' not 'love'. I was actually going to get this dress in coral to wear to the wedding but didn't because the colour was a bit bright for me (wanted it in cream but everyone kept saying cream was a no no - obviously a lot of the other guests didn't get that message). Glad that I didn't get the coral because it would have been horrid. The material is a bit cheap. Really thin and shiny. If anyone smokes next to me I'll have to move away in case i catch on fire!! The best thing is that it has pockets :) I love me some pockets. The left sleeve (right sleeve is fine) is really really tight...not sure if it's a fault or if my left arm is fatter than the right...?
[Above] This is another linen workwear dress, this time is cross-hatch (black and white, so overall the dress is dark grey) . Sorry the picture is awful but the dress is so wrinkled out of the box and it was the last dress I tried on so I didn't even bother to zip it up (hence my missing arm trying to hold the back together lol). Don't love this dress but good to have in the wardrobe to whip out for work.
....So that's it!! Everything in this haul is being kept. For those interested, the other 3 dresses are the pencil dress (my absolute fav one) and two fitted waist dresses (the one i already have in black andd navy) - they went in the sale so thought i'd stock up lol
Hope you enjoyed my haul :)

Bah I wish I could find dresses that suited me but generally there's no room for the boobies!
ReplyDeleteAny who, if you have windows vista, prolly will work in windows 7 too. Open the folder where your photos are saved, right click on one and choose "preview". Once in preview mode you can flick back and forth with the arrow keys to the pics you want to change. The top right in vista has 2 curved arrow buttons. Click the appropriate one to rotate your pic and save.
Let me know if any of that doesn't make sense!

LOL Hi Danielle,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip...I don't know what windows i have, but a friend has shown me how to rotate - my problem was i was uploading straight from my mobile, but if i load it to my laptop first i can edit from there. Bit long though so I think I'll stick to sideways pictures!
:)
