Challenge - Day 1: My favourite song

Day 1 of 'the challenge' and I think that this is a difficult topic.
Sure, it looks easy but committing myself to one song in the public
domain is tough...

Songs, the lyrics and the tune can lock into our minds and hearts in
the most amazing way. I know that smells also have the same effect but
obviously not for me! So for me personally a song can make my heart
break itself and heal itself.

After much thought I have decided that I cannot name just one song out
of a million that I love. I'll pick a few and explain why they were
chosen to represent my favs.

• Mariah Carey - 'Hero'
The song loved by all the crap x factor contestants lol!! No need to
say much, this song is fantastic and really stands the test of time. I
chose this song because for me it was also the song song that made me
realise that I love music. This song was (and often still is!) on
repeat with me warbling along feeling like a diva. I had it on tape,
cd, my laptop, mp3 player and now my ipenny and this will be the song
that I'll
never forget the lyrics too!

• Backstreet Boys - 'I'll never break your heart'
Ok ok stop laughing! I know this is a lame arse song (but arguedbly
the best love song back in the day!) but this really takes me back and
even though I'm sure it use to make me cry my poor little heart out
now it just makes me smile remembering those days.

• Usher - 'You make me wanna'
I just love it! If it was released tomorrow you wouldn't imagine it
was over a decade old so even though it's old school it makes me feel
cool listening to it.

Ok, I think 3 songs are enough!!
