The facebook statuses are telling me that people are unhappy with tfl
and the weather. I'm so glad that I don't have to 'do' public
transport on a regular basis anymore, once a week is more than enough
hassle for me.
Weather wise - the fresh breeze is nice but I did want to sit on my
roof so boooo bring back the sunshine pretty please!
I woke up at 7am today, excited bout my Asos delivery lol I've
unloaded and hung up my laundry, transferred money into my account
(phew!!) and spoke on the phone to the house people re my tv and the
bathroom extractor fan.
Unfortunately because I'm an owner I'll need to get someone to sort
out the extractor which is fine, I only realised yesterday that I had
one so I will survive. After being transferred to every departmen I
finally got through to someone who helped me re the tv. I'm
now waiting for someone to contact me to arrange a visit, hopefully
this will happen but hey it's already been a year so I'm just trying
to stay calm.
The service for everything (bank and house) was so bad. I know what
it's like to work on the telephones and I'm proud of the fact that I
was decent and respectful to every single person who came through to
me. I'm happy that I don't have an urgent problem cos I'd probably die
before they got their arses in gear!!!
It's now just about 12pm and I'm still in my pyjamas :) Waiting
patiently for the asos man. It seems that asos use a few different
delivery companies which is a shame because my 2 previous deliveries
were from a different company from today's and they were fantastic;
emailing on the day an hour time slot that they'll deliver in.
This time my parcel is being delivered by parcelforce and all it says
on their tracking website is that it's on it's way. That's useful to
know, thanks so much(!)
Per usual I am hungry. Looks like I'll be eating basically the same
thing I had yesterday but a slightly downgraded version. Hey, food is
food!!
I know this is sad but I miss work already andi haven't even been
away for one bloody day yet! I know I'm lucky though to do a job I
love and with people who make me smile. I've had jobs where I've come
home crying everyday so on truly grateful.
I think I'm going to go put on some clothes now so bye for now x
