Misfit

After I finished watching ep13 if flashforward I had time to kill
while waiting for V to finish work and het home so I watched Misfits
courtesy of 4OD. Wasn't really sure what to expect, season 1 was only
6 episodes long!

I watched 2 eps (and hope to watch the other 4 during my Easter
Friday). I loved it!! Fun and fast paced story line. Interesting
characters. Brill!! It's kind of a mix between skins and hereos. Its
billed as an english comedy/drama. It's got some fantastic one liners!!

A bunch of teenagers (I think their teens...young adults is probably
more accurate) are doing community service and we meet them on day 1.
A freak storm hits and they get hit by lightning. at first every seems
fine but then we realise some have gained powers. The story follows
the 5 of them, one of which has no powers (or so it seems...sorry
injust spoiled that - I read wikipedia).

One girl is telepathic. One guy can become invisible (at the moment he
can't do it on demand it just seems to happen). One guy can rewind
time (same issue as invisible guy at the mo). And the other
girl...well her 'power' is weird. If someone makes contact with her
skin (Eg a handshake) they are overcome by a powerful sexual urge. "I
want to piss on your tits" was a great line from the invisible dude .
It would be good if she could use this to control or influence people
but at the moment it seems to just make people want to rape her.
Hopefully she'll find a way to use her power!

If u haven't seen it and you like heroes, fantastic four type stuff
and don't mind swearing and young people then I'd def recommend you
watch this. If ur anti-youth stay away!
