*******I'D SAY 'SPOILER' BUT THIS FILM IS SHITE AND SPOILS ITSELF*******
Watching 'Leap Year' starring Amy Adams and some dude. Holy macaroni it's a crap film. I really couldn't care less about the characters (especially Amy Adams - she should go leap off a very tall building). It's patronising towards women who like a bit of glamour in their lives. I am not surprised that her fiance didn't propose. She is lucky he hasn't killed her.
Usually I start blogging about a film as soon as I'm a minute in, but this film was so crap within the first 5 seconds I kept giving it longer and longer so that it had a fair chance, but I'm blogging this 49mins and 12secs in and I still want everyone to leap off whatever. And wo is me, its nearly 7:30pm so it's too late to switch to something else. I am going to have to see it through.
Where's a 134ft deep mine when you need one!?
Mary (Sandra Bullock) and Anna (Amy Adams) characters are similar, but the way their characters were written and the way they are portrayed are completely different. You feel for Mary whereas there's not one inch of sympathy for the situation Anna is in. Mary was driven by a pure childish love (albeit crazy love) whereas with Anna it seems more of a selfish 'I get what I want' sort of love.
Argh I feel so angry. Psycho.
Ok you know what? Typing this is making my blood boil so I just exited that screen. No more 'Leap Year', and I will not be giving it another chance in this lifetime.
*hhhmph* waste of my life :(
Only a 134ft deep mine? Crayon you make me laugh, this is the best film review ever! You should so be hired as a film critic for The Guardian or something.
