I thought I'd show you the two tweezerman's that I do already own. They were kindly gifted to me many many years ago (at least 5 years ago, and they still don't need sharpening!!!), so I would honestly recommend buying them if you are not satisfied with the tweezers you are currently using.
You know that I am no brand snob, generally speaking, it's my view that the cheaper the better. But in the case of tweezers- for me, it's either tweezerman or nothing. I'd rather be a cave-looking-lady.
Below we have my 'everyday tweezer' - I call them this because they are the one's I use everyday (well, nearly everyday) to do my brows. At the time, I think the rrp was about £18 and I think they can still be purchased for around that pricepoint still. The grip and precision of these tweezers are second to none. They get the finest hairs out, and because they grip is good it hurts less then crap tweezers.
Oh! They are officially called the "Wide Grip Slant Tweezer".
Below we have the Point. When I was first gifted these (a few days after the above) I was a bit like, "HUH?" Honestly, I didn't know what to do with them or how to use them. They were so sharp I cut myself with them (and many times since then) but now that I have mastered them they are amazing. They are most useful for ingrowing hairs, and for that reason I don't use these on my brows but for my body (mainly my legs). I'm happy I got the stainless steel one because I disinfect this a lot and I'm not sure how the enamal coated ones would hold up. These rrp at £20 and might not be a great buy for brows (though if I have an unruly ingrown eyebrow hair then I use these too) but if you suffer from ingrown hairs then this is a god send.....
I must admit, after typing that, I'm wondering if I REALLY need the ingrown hair tweezerman...or am i just being greedy?!
If I won the lottery I would buy so many things from the Tweezerman range. I like that they specialise (and for over quarter a century) on these type of stuff. And even though it seems expensive, it works out over time to be a bargain. Prior to tweezerman's I brought and lost/broke/too shit to use a tweezer every few months, so if i'm buying 4 tweezers a year at £3 each I would have spent at least...£60 over the last 5 years compared to just £20 (for wide grip slant). Sepnd to save!!!
