Another ASOS Haul

What sort of person plans their annual leave with an internet shopping spree? ME!

So I took today off work because yesterday I went to a birthday party (I got home just before 5am) and I knew that I would be nothing apart from breathing today so I made sure to put in my ASOS order before 2pm Sunday (in time for next day delivery).

This is my second haul from ASOS (I think Im going to do a post about ASOS and their Curves range soonish).
BTW: If you haven't already and think you'd be interested please have a look at my first ASOS Haul :)

So anyway, without further ado here we go:

[ALL pictures courtesy of ASOS.com]

PHOTO 1 [below]
I don't have much to say about this dress; basically I can't get the zipper down so I can't try it on. Not sure if my fingers are just being useless or if the dress is faulty. Will give the zipper another try soon but if I have no luck this will obviously need to be returned, or maybe exchanged.

It was £24 reduced from £30. I thought it'd be good to have in the wardrobe for work. I wasn't sure if I'd like the fabric or not and I'm still uncertain. It's certainly 'interesting'...

PHOTO 2 [below]I got this dress in the navy (as pictured) and also the black version as well. the navy was £28 and for some reason the black has been reduced to £22. There is also a red version (also £22) that I'm thinking about but realistically I'm not going to wear a tomato red dress am I.

I love this dress. The style is very flattering for my body shape and the length doesn't make me look like a hussy. The only thing I was worried about was (just under) the bust area because when I tried both dresses on there was a lot of material but if you look at the official picture it's the same for the model so I assume that's 'the look' (or maybe she needs a boob job too!).

I know I've said this at least 10 times now but I think I'm going to wear this dress to the wedding. It's not to casual but it's casual enough that I wouldn't feel stupid. And it's decent enough for church and a day spent with my mum and brother (blood relatives do not ever need to see your lady bumps!!).

The thing I'd want to change are the sleeves; they're not terrible but if they were even just an inch longer that would look much better with my flabby arms but nevermind.

PHOTO 3 [below]This black linen dress was £24 reduced from £30. It is gorgeous; so much more cuter than I imagined. As with Dress/Photo 1 I just got it because it'd be good to have in my wardrobe but in the flesh it is so pretty. The shape of the dress is similar to Photo 5 (aka my most favourite dress in the world. official!!) - very sexy and flattering, and the sleeves aren't just block as they look in the photo but kind of scalloped and over lapping. LOVE IT!!!

The only problem for me is the length. It looks fine from the front (short but no indecent) but unfortunately at the back you can see my knickers. Oops. I might have just got away with it but there's a small slit and that = game over.

I've tried it on with a slip underneath but it looks a bit messy and I still look like a tart. I'm also considering sewing/getting someone else to sew the slit up but then I might not be able to walk... But I'm also thinking about just exchanging it for a bigger size (and hopefully it'll be a bit longer) but then it won't fit as well........

PHOTO 4 [below]I've been looking at this dress for a long time because when I was first invited to the wedding I was going to wear cream and was searching for cream stuff. I gotit for £18 reduced from £35 so that was quite a bargain.

I finally decided to buy it after seeing a blog about it written by some crazy fat girl and she'd posted pictures of herself wearing it and she looked really cute. I don't think that the official photo does it any justice at all.

It's really cute on and I got it in a size bigger (wasn't sure how clingy it was going to be) and I look like a hippy princess in it. It's slightly indecent length wise ( Iwouldnt wear it in front of my blood relations haha) especially because both layers are pretty sheer.

I'd definitely be fine wearing it in the winter with tights but if i wore it now I'd probably have to wear leggings....Not sure if this one is a keeper or not because it's a bit of a hassle and one of those dresses you can't just throw on, plus it's not for work so not an 'essential' (unlike the other 1342 dresses I've purchased - I have weird budget boundaries in my head, don't worry!)

PHOTO 5 [below]And finally, the best til last. My favourite dress in the world. Yes, I've brought another one. I know it seems excessive/stupid now but heaven forbid if anything ever happened to the 1st one I got I'd be beyond devastated and this way I have an emergency dress :)

For those who are interested, I got it for £25 reduced from £32.

I also got another dress (photo 4 from my previous asos haul blog post) for L so that's the only packaged still in pristine condition. I thought that I had ordered skirts in a bigger size but it looks like I didn't. But I think I have enough work stuff for now!!

Hope you enjoyed my haul :)
